In June of the 54th year of the Republic of China, it was approved to establish a three-year junior college night department with a four-year course.

In September of the 55th year of the Republic of China, the three-year junior college night department was authorized to be reorganized into a two-year program with three years of study.

In June of the 1986th year of the Republic of China, the Second Technical Training Department was approved to be established.

In December 1987, the Ministry of Advanced Education for the Fourth Skills was approved to be established.

In February 1988, it was approved to establish on-the-job special classes of the Second Technical Training Department.

In August 1992, the Institute of Life Applied Sciences was approved to establish an on-the-job master’s program.

In October 1993, the Republic of China was approved to establish a special on-the-job class for the Fourth Skills Training Department.

In October 1994, the Republic of China was approved to establish a special on-the-job class for the Secondary Education Department.

In November 1996, the Republic of China was approved to establish on-the-job classes for second technical degree programs.

It was originally the Extension Education Group of the Technical Cooperation Division. In August 1995, the school was upgraded to Tainan University of Technology and then changed to the Extension Education Center of the Research and Development Office.
